Creative Strategy

Lead Creative strategy for Instagram for Business socials (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Blog, Web) and created content and strategy that resulted in 2x engagement and 14 million new followers in just 18 months.

Developed social plans to help launch global product roll outs, pitched and created b2b’s first-ever Cultural Moment strategy and content, wrote and stared in Reels, hosted a Live with 220k viewers, created AAPI Hate Community Response video.

Brief: Get business owners to create more Reels.

Solution: Right as Reels Templates first came out I created Try My Reel, a series of Reels Templates that solve common business problems, like how to tell your founder story or promo a new product. I worked with global creators (who were also business owners) to develop the templates and scripts to make these as easy and applicable as possible to inspire business owners to create their first Reel.

Result: Overnight over 287 businesses used our first template. To date, there are thousands of uses of the Templates in this series.

Reels Adoption

Brief: Instagram had just launched Reels and they wanted to drive Reels adoption by showcasing best-in-class Reel’s creativity on Instagram-owned pages (@creators, @InstagramForBusiness @Instagram etc).

Solution: I revised all existing static social content into fun Reels first formats and pitched net new Reels first social series. I worked end-to-end from storyboarding to filming, editing, and staring in tons of Reels to shift our feed to consist of 80% Reels content. I partnered with the product team to create timely edu-Reels that matched pace with all the new Reels tools and updates, along with original viral audios and Templates ultimately increasing Reels adoption by businesses.

In My Saves

Brief: Reinforce to creators and businesses that Instagram is the go-to place to showcase creativity/a business and get inspired vs competitor platforms.

Solution: In My Saves a series I created and creative directed showcasing the stories of how six major influencers and business owners used their Instagram saves to create projects and launch their businesses.
